■Plate spring reinforcement service
・The most important element in determining the performance of a disc type coupling is the leaf spring.
-In addition to standard products, the number of stainless steel plates that make up the leaf spring module can be increased.
- Reinforcing the leaf spring will increase its strength, but it will also increase the reaction force transmitted to the surrounding areas (motors, etc.), which may have a negative impact on peripheral devices.
- If you require improved strength and rigidity, we can accommodate custom orders with reinforced leaf springs.
■Shaft slip torque
- If the shaft slip torque is smaller than the maximum torque of the coupling, compare the shaft slip torque with the actually applied torque (check the motor specifications and load factor).
- If the shaft slip torque is smaller than the actual torque used, we recommend increasing the size of the coupling or using a key for safety.
