■Summary Andor's Newton SY series features a high QE sensor for direct detection of soft X-ray photons. A convenient beryllium foil window blocks visible wavelengths while minimizing "beam hardening" of X-ray energy. Depending on the sensor, the direct detection energy range is <2.5keV to >20keV. Variable readout speeds allow data readout up to 3 MHz via a plug-and-play USB interface. -100°C thermoelectric cooling and a 1024x255 (BR-DD model is 1024x256) or 2,048x512 array of 26x26μm or 13.5x3.5μm pixels, resulting in minimal dark current and unmatched performance for spectroscopic applications. Masu. It's also equipped with Andor's UltraVac™ technology and comes with a standard 5-year vacuum warranty, so you don't have to worry. ■Features ・UltraVac™: 5 year warranty. A proprietary and proven vacuum process is essential for long-term maintenance of vacuum integrity, sensor protection, and unmatched cooling. ・“Standalone” Be window: 200 µm beryllium window is standard equipment ・Multi-megahertz readout: low-noise electronics allow fast repetitions to be achieved ・Supports pixel size up to 13.5x13.5μm: Optimal balance between dynamic range and resolution ・Crop mode: Acquisition mode dedicated to continuous imaging with high-speed temporal resolution ・USB2.0 connection: USB plug and play. No controller box required. ・Enhanced baseline clamp: quantitative accuracy of dynamic measurements - EPICS integration: The platform is fully integrated into EPICS control software.
