However, sodium polyethylene sulfonate and heparin analogs should be avoided by individuals who bleed easily, have difficulty stopping bleeding, or have been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder, due to their ability to inhibit blood coagulation.
Uses of Sodium Polyethylene Sulfonate
Sodium polyethylene sulfonate is beneficial for removing blood stasis and promoting blood circulation. It can improve symptoms such as bruising and swelling caused by internal bleeding. Previously, it was used in pharmaceuticals as a topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent. However, its medical use has been discontinued.
