About This Product

■Applications/Functions

This is a chip scraping type intermediate cleaner that uses a cemented carbide chip in the scraping part and a rubber cushion in the cushion part that has through holes to absorb the resistance applied to the cleaner. The structure in which the cleaner escapes to the safe side prevents damage to the cleaner body or conveyor belt. It also has excellent durability and maintainability.

■Selection guideline

It can also be used on belts with poor surfaces and conveyors that run in forward and reverse directions. We also offer black ceramic chips, corrosion-resistant chips, and NC nylon chips depending on the material being transported.

■Installation and precautions

- Set the mounting position (tip tip) between 20 degrees forward and backward from the vertical line of the head pulley axis. - If the head pulley has a crown, or if conveyed objects are caught between the head pulley and the belt and the belt surface is uneven, avoid installing directly below the head pulley. ・Aiming to reduce the weight of the cleaner, which has been in high demand for some time, from August 2012 we have changed the shaft used in models 900S and below from a round bar (φ36) to a round pipe (φ42.7). ・When reusing an existing old bracket, please note that standard bearings may not be compatible. ・The optimal mounting position is the moment the belt separates from the head pulley. - The center installation point of the cleaner body is located 155 (176) mm at a 90° angle from the mounting position (tip tip).
