About This Product

■Applications/Functions

This is a self-aligning idler on the return side that uses a tapered roller. Because the belt has a large diameter at the center and a small diameter at the ends, the meandering and offset adjustment function works based on the difference in circumferential speed of the roller surface when the belt is in contact. A frame (F2) pivots on the off-center side of the belt to facilitate adjustment.

■Selection guideline

Since there is no indication of the direction of travel, it can be used not only for belt conveyors that travel in one direction, but also for conveyors that run in forward and reverse directions to prevent belt meandering and deviation.
