About This Product

■Achieves a high aspect ratio with narrow fin pitch and high fin height. Copper wave fins that can be installed on flat or curved surfaces

"Wave Fin WA (wavy fin, ruffled fin, waved fin)" is a heat transfer fin whose fin part has a wavy shape. Due to the shape of the fin, it is called wavy, waving, or wavy fin in Japan, and wavy, waved, or ruffled fin overseas. Also, fins with long straight wavy parts are called herringbone fins. The heat exchange performance of wave fins is said to be between that of corrugated fins and offset fins, but the performance has been improved by narrowing the fin pitch and increasing the fin height. Another feature of wave fins is that they are less likely to get clogged with dirt than offset fins. Our wave fins are manufactured using our own equipment that takes advantage of the characteristics of press processing. Therefore, the variation in fin height is small, and we can expect to improve production efficiency and stabilize performance in post-processes (joining and assembly). Features

■High performance

This is the highest performance fin in our standard fin history in terms of wave shape, fin pitch, and fin height. By making the shape finer and increasing the aspect ratio, it is possible to exchange heat in a compact area while maintaining the benefits of fin height accuracy.

■Flexible

The narrower pitch of the fins makes it easier to wrap around curved surfaces. In addition to pasting on flat surfaces such as Peltier elements and semiconductors, it can also be pasted on curved surfaces such as motors and piping. By being able to attach heat dissipation fins to areas where it was previously impossible to attach them, it is expected that the performance of the equipment will be improved.

■Low cost

Since we already have the mold for this standardized product, we can offer it only at the product price. In addition, we can handle customization such as different fin heights and fin pitches by processing only the mold parts, which makes it possible to reduce depreciation costs.
