■Summary

smartPORTAL is a gate-type RFID antenna. The uniquely designed antenna mechanism allows it to quickly read cardboard boxes placed on trolleys and basket cars. It is also possible to read RFID tags attached to large items transported by forklifts, streamlining inspection work and logistics management at logistics sites and manufacturing industries.

■From forklift to hand-held passage

Unique antenna design provides superior reading performance and slim housing to save space. This overturns the general perception that ``gate-type antennas = occupy space'' and allows them to be used effectively in industries and applications where it was previously difficult to introduce them.

■High-density radio waves that do not require antenna adjustment

The uniquely designed antenna built into smartPORTAL eliminates the occurrence of null points, making it possible to reliably read all items within the area. Compared to a normal gate-type antenna that has multiple built-in patch antennas, it achieves radio wave irradiation with no gaps.

■Antenna design that does not require tuning

Unlike regular patch antennas, which require repeated verification and tuning to adjust the position and angle, smartPORTAL has a specially constructed antenna placed over the entire surface of the housing, which provides leak-free readings from top to bottom. It will definitely come true. There is no need for tuning, and highly accurate reading performance can be achieved just by installing it.

■Smart body saves space

Only specific areas can be read using high-density radio wave irradiation. Since there is little leakage of radio waves to other areas, there is no need to install mechanisms such as radio wave blocking walls to prevent misreading. In general gate-type antennas, the mechanism to prevent misreading occupies most of the housing size and requires a large installation space, but with smartPORTAL, it can be installed in a space about the size of a pillar, so it can be installed anywhere. It can be used without any restrictions.

■Make the most effective use of limited space

There is no need to worry about radio wave leakage, the casing is sophisticated, and there is no need to secure blank space inside or outside the reading area. This eliminates the dead space where previously you couldn't place anything to avoid misreading, and now you have a larger work area.
