About This Product

■Functional plating for electronic components

Hard metal with excellent corrosion resistance. The electrical resistance of the metal itself is 4.9μΩ・cm, which is the lowest among the platinum group metals (Pt, Pd, Ru, Rh, and Ir). Also, because it is hard, it is used for movable contacts and intermittent contacts that are prone to sliding and wear. Mitsuya has a long track record of use in sliding contacts. It is chemically stable and corrosion resistant, so it is used for industrial purposes as well as decorative purposes. The hardness of rhodium from a sulfuric acid bath is about Hv800-900 (catalog value).
