About This Product

■Functional plating for electronic components

Hard silver plating (hard silver plating) features a high hardness silver plating with excellent wear resistance. Developed for use as a charging terminal for electric vehicles (EV) and plug-in hybrids (PHV). Conventional silver plating film hardness was around Hv80 to 110, but hard silver plating (hard silver plating) has a hardness of around Hv155 (-5/+15). Therefore, it has superior sliding properties and wear resistance compared to conventional silver plating films. In addition, contact resistance and discoloration resistance in sulfide gas tests are equivalent to conventional silver plating films. We hope that you will be able to try using our hard silver plating (hard silver plating) to make the silver plating film thinner, especially in areas where conventional silver plating films were used to create a thick film. Recently, we have also expanded into connectors for industrial equipment that require ease of insertion and removal.
