About This Product

■New release of parent and child filler Q

Up until now, there have been three types of parent-child fillers: 1. [OF-L type]: Shows the same performance as OF16-L to OF48-L/Notification No. 1456 column base 2. [OF-S type]: Simplified OF12-S/OF52-S to OF80-S/OF-L 3. [OF-K type]: OF16-K/OF20-K/Specialized for column bases for stairs. In terms of transmitting shear force, these systems treated the base plate's frictional resistance as shear strength, but in response to the requests of many people, we have injected a special grout material from a unique perspective. As a result, we will develop and bring to market the "parent-child filler Q type" that can directly transmit shear force to anchor bolts. With parent-child filler Q, 70% of the anchor bolt's allowable shear strength can be used. To achieve this ability, we use a specialized grout material (OFQ grout). This grout material must be filled into the lower end of the base plate and the voids in the anchor holes using the specified method specified in the construction manual. It is also important to inject OFQ grout after the steel column is erected. This is because if the anchor bolt is tightened after injection, separation may occur between the grout and the bolt thread, which are in close contact with each other. please note. This construction and construction management will be handled by the construction company (main contractor). Parent-child filler Q can be used both when using anchor bolts vertically and horizontally. (However, the anchor bolt must be installed at right angles to the base plate)

■Q type (transmits shear force to anchor bolt)

1. The bending force and axial force generated on the column base will be carried out in the same way as the normal exposed column base design for both the primary and secondary designs. 2. The shear force generated in the column base shall be able to be transmitted by setting the shear strength of the column base to be 70% of the frictional resistance force at the bottom of the base plate or the allowable shear strength of the anchor bolt in both the primary and secondary designs. Filling the gap between the base plate and the anchor bolt hole with a special grout is an essential condition.
