About This Product

■Summary

Wood Miser LT15start is an entry model with a sturdy structure unique to Wood Miser. In order to convey the benefits of the LT15 sawmill to more users in Japan, we are offering three machines at a monitor price. As standard, it can saw logs up to 70cm in diameter and 5.4m in length, and you can add as many extensions as needed to saw longer logs. Sawmilling can only be done manually by pushing the sawing head forward. Adjust the head up and down by turning the crank by hand. The saw blade with a thin kerf minimizes power consumption, and even a motor with an output of 5.5kW is sufficient for sawing all types of wood. A 14 horsepower gasoline engine type is also available. Logs can be secured onto the trestle with 3 standard log clamps and 6 adjustable stanchions. The head height can be adjusted using a manual crank, and sawing can be done by gently pushing the sawing head while walking. After sawing, the head is lifted up, pulled back to the end of the log, and lowered into position, ready for the next saw. Supplying lubricating water directly from the water tank to the rotating saw blade prevents resin from adhering to the saw blade, keeping it clean and improving cutting performance. The adjustable blade guide arm firmly supports the saw blade when cutting logs and wood of various diameters and thicknesses. The tension of the saw blade can also be easily adjusted and maintained.

The optional log loading ramp provides support for loading large logs with spring-loaded brackets. Longer logs can be easily sawn by adding an extension trestle
