■Summary

The Thermo Eye series is a thermal barrier paint that contributes to energy and power savings. This is a cost-effective heat shielding paint for roofs that has improved durability using Nippon Paint's UV-resistant technology. *From July 21, 2023, JIS display will gradually disappear depending on inventory. Features

■Contributes to reducing environmental impact

By reflecting infrared rays from sunlight, it suppresses the rise in temperature of the roof surface even on hot summer days, contributing to the creation of a comfortable environment. The temperature setting of the air conditioner can be relaxed, leading to energy savings and electricity bill savings. It also contributes to reducing environmental impact by suppressing temperature rises caused by sunlight reflection.

■Double reflection of top coat and undercoat achieves high heat shielding effect Double reflection/infrared transmission technology

The top coat uses "infrared transmission technology." Not only does it improve the heat-shielding performance of the topcoat, but it also works synergistically with the heat-shielding performance of the undercoat by transmitting infrared rays, which cannot be reflected by the topcoat, without absorbing them as much as possible. "Double Reflection" is a heat differential system that maximizes the heat shielding effect of the top coat and undercoat.

■JIS K 5675 high solar reflectance paint for roofs was certified as a specified procurement item under the Green Purchasing Law.

On February 5, 2013, with the revision of the "Basic Policy on Promotion of Procurement of Environmental Goods by the National Government, etc.", specified procurement items and their criteria were reviewed, and JIS K 5675 was selected as a specified procurement item. . ``Thermo Eye 4F'' and ``Thermo Eye Si'' are certified products of JIS K 5675 high solar reflectance paint for roofs and meet the criteria for green procurement.

■Demonstrated effectiveness in environmental technology demonstration project

The environmental technology demonstration project is a project that is being carried out under the initiative of the Ministry of the Environment with the aim of promoting the dissemination of technologies with useful environmental conservation effects and revitalizing the environmental industry. Evaluation demonstrates its effectiveness. The effectiveness of ThermoEye has been proven in this demonstration project.
