About This Product

■Cortech Water-soluble volatile rust preventive agent VpCI-377

VpCI-377 is water-soluble and can be used to prevent rust on metal products stored indoors in place of conventional rust preventive oils, making it an environmentally friendly rust preventive agent. It is also highly economical, as it can be diluted with water depending on the application, and the required rust prevention period and cost per square meter can be adjusted. It can be applied by spraying or dipping, and basically does not need to be removed, but depending on the situation, it can be easily removed with an alkaline cleaner or Cortec's remover.

■Features

・Rust prevention period is approximately 2 years indoors ・Effective for measures against long-term product inventory ・Effective for flash rust on cold rolled steel sheets ・Does not clog the filter - Forms a transparent, dry film that does not impair the appearance of the product - Volatile rust prevention function prevents rust even in areas where rust preventive agents cannot penetrate easily. ・Non-flammable ・Does not generate VOC (volatile organic compounds) ・Contains no amines, nitrites, or phosphoric acid

・Rust prevention for cast iron, tubular parts, parts finishing, and gears ・Rust prevention for pumps, architectural/spinning/printed hardware, architectural structures, sintered metals, rod/roll metals ・Rust prevention for looms and printing equipment ・Rust prevention for architectural hardware and sintered metals ・As an additive for parts washing and rinsing systems

■Target metal

Carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, plated steel, copper

■How to use

Add VpCI377 to water and stir well. Can be used by spraying, dipping, washing parts, or adding to a rinse tank.
