It is determined based on factors such as reactor capacity (heater capacity) and stirring torque (motor output). The advantage of AC100V power supply is that it can be used with a permanently installed outlet plug. Since it can be used up to a heater current rating of about 12A, you can select a pressure vessel for high pressure applications up to 500ml or a simple container up to 1.5L. AC200V power supply can be used with low current. There is a tendency to use AC200V when consolidating the power supply and control of equipment, when the capacity of the reactor is large, under high temperature conditions, and when high torque is required. ■About SSR control and thyristor control (power regulator) The main temperature control methods used are SSR control using SSR (solid state relay) and thyristor control using power regulator (SCR). Thyristors are used when control accuracy and responsiveness are important, and SSR is used when cost performance is important in fluids that are relatively easy to control. ■Characteristics of SSR control This temperature control method is for fluids with relatively good stability, allowing you to create control panels that are cost-effective and space-saving. Control accuracy and high-speed response are inferior to thyristor control. ■Characteristics of thyristor control This control has excellent control accuracy and high-speed response. Manual correction is also possible using an external setting device, making it easier to suppress overshoot by suppressing heater output. Because the number of component devices increases, it tends to be more expensive and larger than an SSR.
