■Product features

With KGH250, you can easily and inexpensively ``remove bulges around dents,'' ``improve gear accuracy,'' and ``improve tooth surface roughness.'' In the case of normal generating gear grinding using a threaded grinding wheel, highly accurate synchronous rotation of the grinding wheel and workpiece is required. Our gear honing process is a method in which a screw-shaped elastic wheel is engaged with the workpiece and processed using surface pressure between the tooth surfaces. Applying only brake torque to the workpiece shaft, the workpiece is rotated with the rotation of the grinding wheel to machine one tooth surface at a time. Unlike gear grinding, the tooth surface shape cannot be modified, but the simple mechanical structure makes it possible to finish gears at low cost.

■Compatible with various grinders

The maximum rotation speed of the wheel shaft is 6,000 rpm, and in addition to Kashifuji's horn (epoxy + urethane), it is possible to use general commercially available resin wheels and non-woven cloth wheels. We manufacture and sell Kashifuji horns (epoxy + urethane) upon request.

■When using Kashifuji horn (epoxy + urethane)

It is possible to remove the bulges around the dents that cause abnormal noises and the feed marks caused by hobbing.

■When using a non-woven fabric grinding wheel

You can expect to improve the surface roughness after gear grinding, improve the gear surface pressure strength, and reduce high-order noise.

■No hydraulic pressure

By using an air-hydro pressure booster, no hydraulic pressure is required. By eliminating the need for a hydraulic unit, it is possible to reduce hydraulic fluid management and hydraulic unit maintenance man-hours.

■Suitable for long workpieces (optional specifications)

Long workpieces such as motor shafts can also be processed by using the high column and high support specifications.

■Automation compatible (optional specifications)

By automating the support arm and phase alignment method, it is possible to automatically load and unload workpieces using robots, etc. In addition, the twin table specification allows workpiece exchange, workpiece clamping, and phase alignment to be performed outside the machine, reducing non-machining time.
