About This Product

■Typical workpieces to be processed

Internal gears for small reducers, gears for passenger cars/trucks/small construction machines, internal gears for medium-sized reducers

■Gear skiving processing

This is a type of generating gear cutting method, in which the workpiece axis and the tool axis are given an axial angle, and the tool is fed in the direction of the workpiece axis while rotating both at a rotation ratio that corresponds to the number of teeth. During cutting, the cutting edge of the tool gradually skives the tooth groove, which is why it is called gear skiving. We can process not only internal gears but also external gears.

■High efficiency and high speed machining of internal gears

Machining time can be shortened because the tool uses rotary motion instead of reciprocating motion like traditional gear shapers.

■High efficiency of internal gear machining, tooth trace modification

Tooth trace modifications such as crowning and taper, which are impossible with conventional broaching, can be performed without changing processing conditions or increasing cycle time. Being able to modify tooth traces increases the degree of freedom in gear design, reduces finishing allowances in post-processing, and reduces tool costs.

■Highly rigid body structure

The main parts of the machine, such as the bed and column, utilize the technology cultivated through hobbing machine manufacturing to ensure high rigidity and enable powerful cutting.

■Hard gear skiving processing (optional specification)

The automatic workpiece phasing device automatically detects machined teeth and allows finishing work on the workpiece after heat treatment.

■Automated line specifications (optional specifications)

A ring loader/ATC is used to load/unload workpieces and change tools, allowing for long automated operation and frequent tool changes.
