■High rigidity

The double-walled bed with optimal rib arrangement supports the table saddle with a wide sliding surface. The main body structure has high static and dynamic rigidity as well as excellent thermal rigidity, and is also equipped with a cooler for oil temperature adjustment as standard for cutting oil and lubricating oil. Contributes to stabilizing machining dimensions and accuracy during heavy cutting of rotors with large tooth widths.

■High precision

The table on which the workpiece is mounted uses a high-precision three-row master worm and large diameter wheels, enabling high-speed rotation while achieving high rigidity and precision. Furthermore, the table backlash removal device (special accessory) enables stable cutting of rotors with strong helix angles over a long period of time under all conditions.

■ High-precision large hob head capable of strong twisting

The hob head, which is compatible with the strong torsion angle of the screw rotor, performs automatic positioning and clamping from the vertical position to the left and right depending on the torsion direction. The hob that can be installed has a maximum diameter of 310 mm x length of 455 mm (with the hob arbor automatic clamping device, the length is 400 mm), the hob shift distance is 300 mm, and the high-output spindle motor enables powerful and high-precision cutting from low to high speeds.

■High column/high support for long strokes

By adopting a high column, the vertical feed distance (Z-axis) is 580 mm, making it compatible with large diameter hobbing of rotors with large tooth widths. The high support has a support arm vertical stroke of 1,000mm, making it easy to attach and detach workpieces with long necks. In addition, the support arm with sufficient sliding surface width is equipped with a clamping mechanism to securely hold the workpiece during heavy cutting.

■Rich functions

Equipped with an automatic workpiece loading and unloading device, a stock conveyor, a workpiece eccentricity detection device that detects workpiece installation runout, and an automatic cutting displacement measurement and correction device that maintains high precision machining dimensions, it can support long-term automatic operation.
