■Highly rigid mechanical structure

The bed has a double wall structure with optimally arranged ribs, and the wide sliding surface supports the table saddle. The column that receives the cutting force is firmly fixed to the bed and has the most mechanically superior structure. In addition to high static and dynamic rigidity, the structure takes into account the position of the heat source, and exhibits excellent thermal rigidity, which reduces the problem of heat-induced changes in tooth trace accuracy when cutting large gears that require long machining times. minimize.

■Excellent gear machining accuracy

The table and table saddle, which are the heart of the hobbing machine, maintain high rotational accuracy for a long time and have a structure that can withstand heavy cutting. Furthermore, in order to improve machining accuracy, the master worm diameter is 12% larger than the conventional machine. These parts combine the best part processing technology cultivated over many years of hobbing machine manufacturing technology and outstanding finishing technology, guaranteeing excellent gear processing accuracy.

■Easy to attach and detach large workpieces to and from jigs.

By operating the support movement screw, the support can be moved to the retreat end, making it possible to process workpieces with a maximum machining diameter of 1,000 mm. The standard processing diameter is φ750mm. Additionally, the support arm is openable and closable, making it easy to attach and detach large workpieces.

■Finish hobbing possible

By using a combination hob that combines a high-speed steel hob for roughing and a cermet hob for finishing, you can perform high-precision finishing with the hob and shorten the shaving process. Cermet hobs have the effect of suppressing the formation of deposits such as built-up edges during cutting. It is also possible to finish heat-treated workpieces by skiving hobbing using a skiving hob with a negative rake angle.
