■Stable heavy cutting

The highly rigidly designed hob head and hob saddle guarantee stable hobbing accuracy for heavy cutting of large gears. The bed column has a double-wall structure, and the ribs are optimally set, and the wide and long sliding surface minimizes column tilting during heavy cutting. In addition to high static and dynamic rigidity, a mechanical structure that takes into consideration the location of the heat source exhibits excellent thermal rigidity.

■Module 16 gear machining results

The maximum module that can be cut with the standard machine specifications is 8 modules, but by using multiple cutting cycles, it is possible to process modules of 8 or more. (We also have a track record of gear machining for module 16.)

■Finish hobbing possible

By using a combination hob that combines a high-speed steel hob for roughing and a cermet hob for finishing, you can perform high-precision finishing with the hob and shorten the shaving process. Cermet hobs have the effect of suppressing the formation of deposits such as built-up edges during cutting. It is also possible to finish heat-treated workpieces by skiving hobbing using a skiving hob with a negative rake angle.
