■Improved processing accuracy

Adopts a new frame that combines a bed, column, and support with excellent workability and thermal rigidity. We optimized the rib placement through structural analysis and achieved high rigidity. Additionally, by using an inclined chute inside the machine that reduces steps and seams, and a large chip removal port, chips are smoothly ejected during dry cutting. It is possible to suppress thermal displacement due to chip accumulation and obtain stable machining accuracy.

■Improved standard specifications

In order to shorten machining/non-machining time, standard specifications have been improved, such as increasing the maximum rotation speed of the hob axis and workpiece axis, and increasing the feed speed of each axis, contributing to improved productivity. The hob shift distance is 150mm, 20mm longer than the previous model, reducing the frequency of hob re-grinding. The standard vertical travel distance of the hob axis is 250mm, which is 50mm longer than the previous model, and can be extended up to 400mm as an option, making it possible to handle long-axis workpieces such as EV motor shafts that could not be machined with the previous model. Masu. Furthermore, by minimizing the interference area between the hob head and the small center of the workpiece axis, it is possible to handle small diameter workpieces.

■High speed and high precision (optional specifications)

You can choose between a 9,000 rpm hob head with a 7.5 kW built-in motor that achieves high-speed and high-precision machining, and a 7,000 rpm hob head with a 25 kW built-in motor that specializes in high-efficiency machining, allowing for hard hobbing after heat treatment and shaving before heat treatment. Less processing is possible. You can also select a 1,200 rpm high speed table with high efficiency machining specifications. Furthermore, by attaching linear scales to the hob vertical movement axis, hob horizontal movement axis, and hob shift axis for full closed loop control, it is possible to perform even more precise machining. We are developing and expanding optional specifications with the aim of achieving even higher speed and higher precision machining.

■In-machine mounting device (optional specification)

It is possible to install a phrasing unit that performs chamfering on the same table as hobbing, making it possible to remove secondary burrs that occur after chamfering and perform finish hobbing.
