About This Product

The closed-loop controlled automatic XY stage for microscopes from Merzhäuser, Germany is an automatic XY stage with a built-in encoder that boasts higher positioning accuracy and repeatability than standard automatic XY stages. It was developed for applications that require automation and high-precision positioning of microscopes and various observation equipment. Can be attached to upright microscopes such as Evident (formerly Olympus), Nikon, Carl Zeiss, and Leica. It can also be installed in special systems such as various measuring instruments and analytical devices using L-shaped support legs. By using API & DLL for software creation, it can be easily incorporated into original equipment.

■Features- Control software SwitchBoard is included.
- Can be controlled with various software - Micro-Manager, MetaMorph, NIS-Elements (Nikon), cellSens Dimension Multiposition (Olympus), Stream Motion (Olympus), etc.
・We provide API & DLL for original software development.
- By adding Profiler SCD, it can be used as a length measurement stage with digital output.

■The maximum movement speed of the SCAN series depends on the ball screw pitch used for the stage.・1 mm Ball screw pitch Specifications: Maximum speed 60 mm/s
・2 mm Ball screw pitch Specifications: Maximum speed 120 mm/s
・4 mm Ball screw pitch Specifications: Maximum speed 240 mm/s
