■What is an automatic power factor regulator?

An automatic power factor regulator is a device that automatically controls the turning on and off of phase advance capacitors in equipment. Improving the power factor reduces load current and reduces power loss caused by transformers, distribution lines, etc., resulting in lower electricity bills and effective energy savings. It also has the role of preventing voltage increases due to excessive power factor advancement and assisting in extending the life of electrical equipment and equipment.

This is an automatic power factor regulator that automatically controls the amount of power capacitor input. Also, based on the measured value of reactive power, the power factor correction capacitor is turned on and off to adjust the power factor to an appropriate value. ・Capacitor control can be forcibly turned off using external forced cutoff input. *Only when capacitor control is automatically set - You can check the operation of the capacitor with the operation answer function. - It has a function to measure harmonic current, and depending on the settings, if harmonics flow into the capacitor, it will shut off the capacitor and protect it from harmonics. ・Counts the number of openings and closings, which is a guideline for when to replace the phase advance capacitor switch, and displays the number of times. - Takes in the phase advance capacitor switch contact and displays when the contact is ON.
