Aluminum round bar is one of the typical base materials for processed aluminum products. Since the characteristics differ depending on the material, they are used for a variety of purposes.
A5056 has higher strength than A5052, is suitable for cutting, and has a beautiful finish, so it is used as a base material for cutting and lathe processing. A5052 has excellent seawater resistance and good weldability, so it is used for ships. We also handle aluminum round bars made of materials such as A1070, A2017, A2024, A5083, A6061, A7075, and A7N01.

■Material
・A5056 This is the most common round bar. It has medium strength, corrosion resistance, machinability, and compatibility with alumite treatment.
・A2017 High strength aluminum alloy, also called duralumin. Machinability is good.
・A2011 (equivalent) Free-cutting bar, high strength, with the addition of a small amount of lead, it cuts chips well and has good cutting performance at high speeds. Corrosion resistance is slightly inferior, and appropriate measures may be required depending on the usage environment. Each aluminum manufacturer has its own standards.
