About This Product

Integrates type B silica gel with outstanding moisture control ability and moisture-proof/insulating sheet.

■Features

1. "Humidity control function & condensation prevention" Silica gel type B absorbs moisture when the humidity rises, and when the humidity drops even slightly, it releases the moisture it has absorbed. By repeating this action over a long period of time, it stably adjusts the humidity in the space. It is also effective in preventing condensation as the moisture absorption rate increases as the humidity increases. 2. "Deodorization and adsorption of harmful gases" Due to its porous structure with countless macro- and micro-sized pores (gap), it adsorbs not only moisture (water vapor) but also harmful gases such as formaldehyde. It also has an excellent deodorizing effect against ammonia-based odors that are easily soluble in water. 3． "Synergistic effect of heat insulation sheet and silica gel B type" In addition to the insulation properties of the moisture-proof polyethylene sheet with a thickness of 0.5 mm, the countless pores (gaps) of the parallel silica gel have the role of trapping air*, resulting in a synergistic effect that achieves a high insulation effect. *Air has unparalleled insulation properties.

■Structure and materials

Foamed polyethylene is made by irradiating polyethylene with electron beams and exhibits excellent insulation, cushioning, and heat resistance. It firmly protects against moisture generated from the ground and concrete surfaces, and also blocks heat and cold air from areas that come into contact with the sheet.

■Polyethylene

This material has a proven track record as a moisture-proof sheet. Since chlorine gas is not produced when it is burned, there is no generation of dioxins.

■Adhesive processing

It is a processing method that does not place any burden on the environment and is not harmful to the human body.

■Moisture absorption performance

The maximum moisture absorption amount of long-lasting silica gel is approximately 70% of its own weight, which is approximately 5 to 10 times more absorbent per weight than general charcoal and natural minerals. In addition, when the humidity drops, it has the function of stabilizing the spatial humidity (humidity control effect) by expelling the moisture it has inhaled. Maximum moisture absorption amount approximately 800g per multifunctional sheet terra *The amount of water vapor contained in the atmosphere per 1m2 is 26.7g at a temperature of 30℃ and humidity of 90%.
