About This Product
The element part of the auto clean filter consists of filter plates and spacer plates stacked alternately on a central rotating shaft (spindle). By sandwiching the spacer plate between them, a gap equivalent to the thickness of the spacer plate is created between the stacked filter plates.
The fluid flows through this gap from the outer circumference of the plate toward the inner circumference, and "dust" larger than the gap contained in the fluid is captured in the gap between the filter plates. The size of the captured "dust" is determined by the size of the gap, so the gap, or the thickness of the spacer plate, determines the filtration accuracy.
In order to remove the "dust" trapped in the gap between the filter plates, a scraper plate (fixed by a separate shaft from the rotating shaft) enters from the outer periphery of the plate by rotating the rotating shaft (spindle). The "garbage" is scraped off.
It is possible to scrape off "dust" while flowing fluid and restore the element's function, so there is no need to replace the element due to clogging with "dust". If you want to capture even finer "dust", there is also a type of filter whose filtration accuracy can be determined by the dimensional difference between the inner circumference of the filter plate and the outer circumference of the spacer plate.
This filter is ideal for filtering oil such as hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, and fuel, and can also be applied to filtering other liquids such as chemicals and water.

■Handling
When handling, be careful to open the air vent after starting oil supply and make sure that the inside of the filter is completely filled with oil. It is necessary to clean the filter early to prevent pressure drop from increasing due to clogging, and to drain the filter slag from time to time through the cleaning hole.
