About This Product

■Summary

This is our original end mill that can be used for both shallow and deep grooves and prevents the occurrence of curling or chipping of the material surface during shallow groove processing. By applying a diamond coating, we have achieved durability that is equal to or greater than diamond tip tools. (New product/patent pending)

■The impetus for development

The mainstream of end mills with forward and reverse leads are either diamond-tipped split blades or all-carbide spiral bits, but one day a customer asked us, ``Are there any diamond-tipped split blades with a smaller diameter?'' Diamond split blades are difficult to manufacture with diameters smaller than φ10, and all-carbide spiral bits can be manufactured with small diameters, but they have the disadvantage of poor blade retention and the inability to process shallow grooves compared to diamond bits. Therefore, we began developing cutlery that incorporates only the advantages of diamond segmented blades and carbide spiral bits. Finally, the ``DIA Coated Shallow Groove End Mill'' was introduced, which is capable of producing small diameters and has the durability of a diamond.It suppresses surface curling and burrs when machining shallow grooves, and removes debris easily when machining deep grooves. , the ultimate cutlery was born that can prevent material burning and cutting edge wear, which is too much to write about here.

"MIX-mill" = A coined word of "mix" + "end mill" that incorporates only the best features of carbide end mills and diamond split blades. (Trademark registration pending)
