About This Product

■Summary

Conventionally, laser welding of precision parts has had the problem of parts rotating or moving several micrometers to several tens of micrometers due to volumetric contraction that occurs when the part melted by laser beam irradiation hardens again, which deteriorates welding accuracy. I am. In addition, in order to compensate for this amount of movement, laser irradiation is used, which is called compensation hammering, to pull the component back in the opposite direction to the misalignment, but this method creates large residual stress in the component, resulting in a long-term product It may also cause loss of reliability. To solve this problem, we have developed a high-precision laser welding optical system that provides simultaneous multi-point irradiation. This new laser welding optical system has achieved high-precision laser welding by making essential improvements to address many of the problems associated with conventional laser irradiation optical systems, as listed below. The LI100-01 simultaneous multi-point irradiation high-precision laser welding optical system uses a newly developed beam branching optical system, making it possible to simultaneously implant two beams onto the same plane. The beam splitting optical system splits the laser light introduced through one fiber into two beams inside the optical system, and converges them on the same plane with one condensing lens, so the irradiation intensity between the two beams is reduced. are always precisely balanced. Additionally, this optical system uses an aberration-correcting lens that focuses guide laser light (633 nm) and welding YAG laser light (1.06 μm), which have different wavelengths, onto the same focal point. The 3D spot position of the guide light to be imaged is accurately irradiated with the same size. This aberration correction lens is composed of three air gap lenses, and will not be damaged by high-intensity laser light. Furthermore, since the same aberration correction lens is used in the coaxial observation optical system, welding points can also be determined from the monitor image of the sample captured by the observation camera. In addition, an LED ring illumination for observation is built into the exit part of the lens, so external illumination is not required for observation. The LI100-01 simultaneous multi-point irradiation high-precision laser welding optical system is suitable for laser welding of surface-mounted optical components that require submicron precision, but it is also suitable for laser welding of surface-mounted optical components that require submicron precision. It is also effective for mounting, butterfly module welding, MEMS bonding, and precision electronic/optical component mounting.
