About This Product

■Summary

When laser welding precision parts, welding accuracy deteriorates because the part to be fixed rotates or moves several micrometers to several tens of micrometers due to volumetric contraction that occurs when the metal melted by laser beam irradiation hardens again. In addition, in order to compensate for this movement, laser irradiation is performed in a post-process called correction punching to pull the part back in the opposite direction to the misalignment, but this method creates residual stress in the part and causes damage to the assembled product. It can also cause damage to long-term reliability. LSpot-200 performs multi-point welding at 2 points simultaneously on 1 port, 4 points on 2 ports, and 6 points on 3 ports, reducing rotation and tension deviation when welding is fixed, improving welding accuracy. . LSpot-200 has a structure that uses a beam splitting optical system to split the laser light introduced from one fiber into two within the optical system, and then focuses the two spots on the same plane, so it is possible to irradiate two spots. Intensity is always balanced. In addition, by using an optional observation camera and adapter, images of the focal position of the laser irradiation optical system can be transferred to a PC and monitored, but the laser monitor light (usually red laser light) and the cursor on the monitor screen (includes simple position-adjustable cursor generation software) to adjust the laser irradiation position. Up to 4 cameras can be monitored simultaneously on one PC. The multi-point laser irradiation optical system LSpot-200 is suitable for laser welding of optical components that require submicron precision, but it is also suitable for bonding LD and PD chips, mounting optical components for optical transceivers such as TOSA/ROSA, and welding butterfly modules. , MEMS bonding, and precision electronic/optical component mounting.
