About This Product

■Concept

This is a small, table-top size magnetic domain observation device developed by leveraging our many years of experience in developing and manufacturing magnetic domain observation devices. Equipped with a dedicated electromagnet, observation computer, and software, it can be used as an independent magnetic domain observation microscope. Additionally, the palm-sized observation unit used in this device can be provided as a standalone unit for a wide variety of combinations.

■Highly sensitive dynamic magnetic domain observation

Even though it is compact, there is no compromise in its optical performance. It is possible to observe dynamic magnetic domain behavior with high contrast under magnetic field control using the attached electromagnet.

■Compact size that can be installed on a tabletop

It maintains the same magnetic domain observation performance that has been cultivated over more than 30 years, but the installation area is less than an A4-sized paper. We have succeeded in making it significantly smaller.

■Using a stable and long-life LED light source

In contrast to the mercury lamps used in conventional equipment, which inevitably flicker, we use long-life white LEDs, which have less temporal changes in brightness and less noise, as microscope illumination.

■Lens attachment

The objective lens is a sliding type that is easy to replace and has excellent observation position reproducibility. Even those who are not accustomed to handling microscopes can use it with confidence. A high N.A (0.8) 50x objective lens is used as standard. We can also offer options such as 20x and 100x objective lenses.

■Multi-axis manual stage

In addition to the XYZ-axis manual adjustment stage, the device comes with a θ-axis manual adjustment stage (for in-plane rotation) and an α-β-axis manual adjustment stage (for tilt adjustment). When observing magnetic domains in the in-plane direction due to the longitudinal Kerr effect, the inclination of the observation plane has a large effect on the observation, but the multi-axis manual stage of this device supports position adjustment tasks such as flattening the sample.

■Magnetic domain observation unit

This device is not only available as a system including an electromagnet and PC, but also as a microscope observation unit alone. It can be used in combination with other equipment such as prober equipment or optical experiment systems.

■Magnetic domain observation software with magnetic field control and image processing functions

The compact magnetic domain observation device comes with special software for magnetic domain observation. It integrates all functions necessary for magnetic domain observation, including camera settings, magnetic field control, image processing, and analysis functions.
