About This Product

Since the invention of the laser in 1960, various types of laser light sources have been created. Compared to commonly used laser light sources such as semiconductor lasers, He-Ne lasers are simple and low-cost, yet oscillate with a good beam and have excellent coherence. These features, along with frequency and output stability, are also utilized in the "Frequency Stabilized He-Ne Laser." The He-Ne laser's greatest feature is its spectral linewidth, which is said to be less than 100㎐, which is significantly narrower than the MHz order of typical semiconductor lasers. ■Features/Applications ・Light source for length measuring instrument or interferometer ・Excellent coherence. Ideal for interferometer construction ・Able to maintain frequency stability over long periods of time ・Significantly redesigned laser resonator structure for longer life ・Manufacturing, adjustment, inspection, etc. are all carried out at a factory in Japan.
