About This Product

■Summary NeoArc's optical comb is a nonlinear polarization rotating mode-locked fiber laser that uses rare earth-doped optical fiber as a gain medium. (Center wavelength 1560nm. Broadband/visible light negotiable) The pulse interval (repetition frequency ƒrep) and carrier envelope offset (ƒCEO) of the optical comb can be determined by referencing and synchronizing frequency standards such as atomic clocks and GPS. - Optical frequency can be specified with high accuracy at the frequency standard level. Optical combs, which are touted as dream light sources, are used for optical frequency measurement, length measurement, shape evaluation, terahertz wave generation, applications in photon quantum technology and next-generation communication technology, as well as physical properties for cutting-edge science, technology, and space fields. It has a wide range of possibilities as a new-age light source for evaluation and spectroscopic analysis. ■Stable operation A mode-locked fiber laser type optical comb, which has also been adopted as a national length standard. Stable operation is achieved with minimal adjustment. NeoArc's optical communication system, which was released after over 10 years of development, incorporates measures against changes in the external environment and can be operated with minimal maintenance. (In principle, optical combs that can be operated with ultra-high precision must be installed in a stable laboratory environment.) ■Module type controller/19 inch rack compatible All module-type controllers that allow you to freely combine the necessary functions are developed and manufactured at our own factory (Hachioji City, Tokyo). Modules such as frequency stabilizers, diode laser (LD) drivers, piezo drivers, and temperature controllers can also be provided individually to suit your needs. Additionally, the power supply frame that mounts the module can be stored in a 19-inch rack (EIA standard). (Up to 6 modules can be stored per power frame set)
