About This Product

Disaster prevention priority reservoirs are reservoirs where there are houses and public facilities in the flooded area if the reservoir bursts, and there is a risk of human damage. In light of the heavy rains that occurred in western Japan in July 2018, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries announced new selection criteria for priority reservoirs for disaster prevention in November of the same year, and prefectures coordinated with municipalities to re-establish 63,722 priority reservoirs for disaster prevention nationwide. Selected (as of the end of May 2019). In response to this, municipalities responsible for local disaster prevention are required to develop monitoring systems using water level gauges, etc. as a measure to quickly grasp the situation and take evacuation actions in the event of an emergency. The "Cloud-managed Disaster Prevention Priority Reservoir Monitoring System" is a solution that monitors water levels in reservoirs as well as locally occurring extreme weather data and obtains basic information for regional disaster prevention in real time.

■Equipment configuration

・Implement weather environment sensors (inclinometers, etc.) according to site needs such as water level gauges and rain gauges ・Information camera ・Sensor data collection device ·controller ・Router SIM included ・Warning light/siren option ・Solar power generation system option ・Users must provide their own client terminals (computer, smartphone, tablet). ・The controller and router (SIM card) are rental items. You will be required to return it after the contract ends.

■Applications/Advantages of introduction

- By monitoring the water level of the reservoir, we will take measures to lower the reservoir water level and thoroughly manage the low water level, and support ensuring the safety of the embankment body, etc. ・By remotely monitoring the situation at the site with an information camera, we support the efficient removal of sediment, driftwood, etc. that has accumulated in the spillway. ・Landslide detection sensors (inclinometers) detect collapsed areas around reservoirs and support swift measures to prevent damage from spreading. ・In addition to disclosing information about reservoirs to local residents during normal times to improve disaster prevention awareness and educating them about the principles of evacuation actions, create a system to provide the information necessary to encourage appropriate evacuation actions in the event of an emergency.
