About This Product

HP-UVIS combines two UV tubes for 254/366nm into one unit. Two sloping plate tables with non-slip surfaces are placed one above the other. Incident stray light is minimized for observation without the need for a darkroom.

HP-UVIS provides very high fluorescence intensity at 366nm with a 12W high-pressure mercury vapor discharge lamp for fluorescence evaluation of thin-layer chromatograms. In this respect it is superior to all analytical lamps with cold light tubes. Fluorescent substances can be detected in nanogram quantities. 8W low pressure tube and selected filter ensure optimal contrast at 254nm. HP-UVIS is equipped with a UV protection shield.
