About This Product
The Aerosol Monitor LB9140 is used to measure airborne alpha/beta particles under the influence of natural radiation (radon) and a fluctuating gamma background. The display is equipped with a self-monitoring feature that continuously monitors display and alarm conditions. The system has the advantages of being quiet, vibration-free, maintenance-free and having a long service life.
■Main configuration
・Filter tape unit LB 9128μ: Enables rapid measurement of radioactive α/β particles using a Si-CAM detector.
・Alpha Beta Detector: Measures directly in the placed area and realizes a real-time monitoring system.
- Cassette: Made of aluminum with protection class IP68, it consists of a dust collection unit, filter supply, and take-up spool, and the plexiglass front door allows visual confirmation of the filter supply.
Filter feed is driven by a stepping motor unit and can be fed continuously at user-selected speeds (5/10/12.5/15 mm/h). It is also possible to step through the filter at user-selected time intervals.
