About This Product
The B150 D-R uses a fixed filter to simultaneously measure artificial alpha and beta particles bound to aerosols in the air with high sensitivity. This system is capable of correcting and measuring natural radiation and is an online monitor that performs dusting, measurement and evaluation simultaneously. The system also includes an all-important self-monitoring feature that reports errors and threshold violations.
High air flow rates of up to 40 m³/h enable representative sampling both for direct monitoring of room or workplace air and for monitoring exhaust air from stacks using isokinetic sampling.
The sampled air is taken through a 200mmØ S-class glass fiber filter. The detector is a large-area proportional counter with a thin entrance window, placed at a distance of 7 mm directly above the collection area, and measures the radiation intensity from alpha and beta decay.
