About This Product

Neutron detector LB6419 was developed to measure dose and dose rate in particle accelerators. This environment favors very specific conditions for dose monitoring, such as pulsed radiation and high beam energies. Many conventional ionizing radiation measurement instruments are significantly affected by dead time and are therefore not necessarily suitable for measurements in pulsed radiation fields.

Furthermore, many types of detectors do not have the necessary sensitivity to high energies or high dose rates and therefore tend to significantly underestimate the strength of the radiation field.
