About This Product

The LB6411 neutron equivalent probe can be used as a portable monitor or a fixed monitor. It is mainly used in nuclear fuel cycles in the nuclear technology field, accelerators in the research field, and neutron source applications in the industrial field. The probe consists of a LB6410 3He recoil proton counter in the center of a spherical polyethylene (PE) moderator, high voltage power supply, and preamplifier.

■Summary

・Possible to measure neutrons from thermal neutrons up to 20 MeV ・Energy dependence between 50 keV and 10 MeV ±30% ・Used in combination with the universal monitor UMoⅡ LB134, which is equipped with a display, data storage, and printer output, to display measurement results.

■Features

・Can be used for both portable and fixed monitors ・Calibrated to neutron ambient dose equivalent H* (10)

■High sensitivity

・Very high sensitivity with approximately 3 pulses per nSv ・Short-time measurement possible in weak neutron fields
