About This Product
The B2046 and LB2046-130 were developed for simultaneous measurement of alpha and beta radiation in various measurement samples such as wipe tests and evaporated residues in nuclear power plants or nuclear chemical plants. It is also possible to test common environmental samples and dust filters for radiation.
Large area ZnS (Ag) scintillation detectors with a diameter of 60 mm or 130 mm are encased in light-resistant aluminized hostaphan foil (0.4 mg/cm²) and are ideal for alpha and beta/gamma measurements.
The touch display provides an intuitive user interface for easy and quick access to important measurement steps. For background measurements, α and β background subtraction is performed and saved to correct the measured value. Calibration routines enable detector calibration for a variety of nuclides, and system tests quickly perform instrument performance checks.
