About This Product

LB1342 and LB1343 use a zinc sulfide (ZnS) scintillator, and a photomultiplier tube measures the flash produced when radiation hits the scintillator. By using a special evaluation and correlation circuit, it is possible to distinguish between each type of radiation, such as alpha rays, beta/gamma/X-rays, and to separate and measure them simultaneously (patented by Berthold). Some spillover of α particles into the β channel is corrected by the software. Each probe can also be used in conjunction with a universal monitor UMoⅡ LB134 with display, data storage and printer output to display measurement results. We also have a wide range of options, including wall-mounted units and charging adapters.
