About This Product

A highly sensitive photon measurement device using a photomultiplier tube. Only brightness can be measured. Recommended if spectral measurements are not required. The chemiluminescence analyzer is the world's highest level ultra-sensitive luminescence measuring device that can detect photon-level light generated by oxidative degradation reactions. Chemiluminescence, which is emitted when organic matter undergoes oxidative deterioration, is measured and used to evaluate the degree of oxidative deterioration. Four types of main bodies and six types of sample chambers are available. You can select and use them in combination depending on your purpose. ■Capturing oxidative deterioration reactions with light Oxidation of organic substances produces peroxides (oxides). When these are decomposed and the excited substance returns to its ground state, it releases light and heat. By measuring this weak light, it is possible to measure the degree of oxidative deterioration. This is called the chemiluminescence method (CL method). The CL Analyzer uses a photomultiplier tube (Photomultiplier/PMT) and an ultra-high sensitivity CCD camera to detect the weak luminescence emitted by oxidative deterioration, and detects oxidative deterioration in the early stages before visible changes appear. It is a device that captures images. ■Measurement target and purpose of use Measurement using the CL method can be used for early deterioration diagnosis of polymeric materials, foods, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals, and for disease research using biological samples. ■Advantages of CL method The CL method can detect very early oxidative deterioration. This makes it possible to conduct accelerated oxidation stability tests (such as light irradiation and heating) on new products in a short period of time, which previously took several months. In addition, by eliminating defective products during shipping and receiving inspections of materials and checking for oxidative deterioration of products caused by heating during manufacturing and molding processes, we can find the optimal way to reduce the number of defective products. Processing conditions can be considered.
