About This Product

An ultra-high speed microplate washer that can simultaneously wash 96 or 384 well plates. A stacker can be installed, so up to 60 plates can be installed. Washing a 96-well microplate three times takes just 17 seconds. This, combined with a unique one-rail plate transfer design that moves plates a short distance from the stack to the wash position, allows for 150 wash plates per hour, or up to 1,050 plates per day (3 x 300 µL , 7 hours a day, 1 wash).

■Cleaning head

Each wash channel has its own aspiration and dispense tips, allowing all 96 wells to be washed simultaneously. The same 96-channel washhead supports 384-well washing. Rapid positioning of the wash head provides 384-well cleaning speeds comparable to 384-channel washers. Large diameter suction tip, three-dimensional (3D) tip arrangement, and constant flow vacuum pump ensure smooth and efficient cleaning performance.

■Cleaning protocol

Two wash modes are available: normal wash mode and super wash mode (also known as "overflow mode"). In normal cleaning mode, the cleaning solution is dispensed and drained reciprocally. In superwash mode, wash solution is dispensed and drained simultaneously, creating a continuous flow of wash solution through the wells. Define the horizontal and vertical position of the aspiration tip, thereby mapping how the well is aspirated. By fine-tuning all the parameters of the washing procedure, even loosely attached cultured cells can be washed.

■Unique waste liquid system

Discharged cleaning fluid is captured by a self-draining waste trap. This allows large plate batches to be processed without interruption. Biohazardous waste management is supported by automatic addition of decontamination solutions. Decontaminated waste is continuously discharged from the trap.

■Automatic buffer switching

Zoom HT is available in different versions with 1, 2 or 4 wash buffer inlets. This feature is advantageous for applications that require sequential washing with different buffers or for automated cleaning routines after use of the system.
