About This Product

TriStar5 is a modular, high-performance microplate reader. Both independent user-selectable filters and monochromators are included on the excitation and measurement sides. Supports advanced detection modes such as TRF, TR-FRET, FP, and specific assays such as BRET/BRET2, NanoBRET™, Lantha-Screen®, AlphaScreen®. ■FlexTex Optics Equipped with FlexTec Optics. Double monochromator capable of both excitation and measurement spectral scanning. Or utilize filters for excitation and measurement to optimize assay sensitivity. Both technologies can be combined if required. Offers both flexibility and sensitivity in a single system. ■Low crosstalk When performing measurements, do you often see some high-intensity samples surrounded by low-intensity wells? This may be affected by a phenomenon called crosstalk. TriStar5's crosstalk reduction design virtually eliminates this problem. If the crosstalk is 10^-6, there is no need to worry about the position of bright samples within the plate. ■JET injector Can be equipped with up to 3 JET injectors with variable capacity. The ultra-fast injection speed of the JET injector eliminates the delay between injection and measurement, making it possible to measure fast reactions such as flash emissions. Uses Teflon bellows for precise and fast injection, ensuring the most efficient mixing and long life. ■ONE-4-ALL technology The patented ONE-4-ALL optical system is optimized to combine the stability and ease of use of a multimodal optical system with the sensitivity and versatility of a dedicated optical device. ■Downward fluorescence measurement It is possible to measure with high performance both from below and above the plate. The system's advanced bottom-reading technology facilitates easy selection and analysis via the software. Adherent cells provide the highest sensitivity and excellent signal-to-background ratio in these applications. ■Filter system The filter features up to 25 times higher transmission characteristics than a monochromator. You can analyze fluorescence using wide bandwidth filters or perform luminescence-based assays such as BRET, BRET2 or NanoBRET™ assays.
