About This Product

Sirius 2 LB 9526 is a compact and highly sensitive tube luminometer. Light collection is maximized both by the proximity of the sample to the detector and by the use of optimized light reflectors surrounding the sample vial. The luminometer is upgradeable with up to two injectors and is ideal for flash assays. It can also be equipped with an intuitive touchscreen computer for standalone operation. Sirius 2 supports all basic luminescence technologies including flash-type luminescence, glow-type luminescence, bioluminescence, and chemiluminescence.

■Quick start function

Measurement starts automatically when the sample drawer is closed. No need to press any keys. An automatic optical shutter protects the detector from ambient light. This allows you to measure your system from the moment you close the door. This means there is no need to set long delays before measurements. This is required by most other tube luminometers so that the background can return to the initial level after the door is opened.

■Sample format

The sample chamber is designed for performance and flexibility. From microfuge formats to 20mL vials, simply choose the sample format that best suits your application. Optional sample holder allows precise injection into both microcentrifuge tubes and standard luminescent tubes. ・Standard 12mmφ luminous tube (55 and 75mm) ・Microcentrifuge tubes (1.5 and 2mL) ・Scintillation vial (maximum 20mL)

■Touch panel

The touchscreen-driven software is very intuitive and operated by touch gestures. Easy-to-use software provides advanced features such as processing replicates, dual assay calculations, and displaying graphics. Data can be easily downloaded to a USB stick or printed. Results can be exported for further calculations in Excel or other programs.
