About This Product

This is a series with a thin nut width. This is convenient when you want to make the installation width compact, but since the number of screw grooves is reduced, three set pieces are placed around the entire circumference to prevent loosening. This is a type that is pushed perpendicularly to the radial direction of the screw. The threaded part of the nut and the tightening end face are simultaneously turned using one-chuck machining, and the perpendicularity of the end face to the threaded part standard is guaranteed as mechanical accuracy.

■Precision lock nut installation procedure (spindle shaft, general procedure)

After temporarily tightening the nut with a wrench, while measuring the rotational runout accuracy of the shaft, make fine adjustments with a plastic hammer etc. to ensure accuracy. Next, perform final tightening with a torque wrench, check again that the shaft runout accuracy is correct, and secure the nut with a set piece. The part of the set piece that comes in contact with the screw is made of brass, which deforms and is pushed into the thread to prevent loosening. If necessary, please use adhesive or sealant together. We also manufacture special products.
