About This Product

Unicon is a controller that allows the user to perform routine motion control without the need to create a program. Conventionally, hardware for routine operations that were all connected to a sequencer is now made into an independent "unit" for each operation, which helps streamline the main sequence and improves the efficiency of setup changes. Unicon comes pre-programmed with "knit" actions. Therefore, you can use it immediately after purchasing and completing the wiring. We also develop Unicon (OEM) with new behavior according to customer requests. Unicon is a general term for our controllers that have built-in operation sequences for each role in order to unitize automation equipment. Features

■It works without connecting a sequencer to the host.

Once you receive your Unicon, you can start working immediately after wiring it. Furthermore, if you use the checking Unicon-Monitor (sold separately), you can independently check the wiring beyond the Unicon, eliminating the need to wait for work on the main sequencer side, and significantly reducing the time required for conventional work. It can be shortened.

■Ideal for general-purpose units that can be reused and repurposed.

The Unicon and the sequencer on the device side only exchange "operation start and operation completion signals", and control beyond the Unicon can be made independent. The high degree of independence on the operating side means that it is possible to flexibly respond to partial functional changes to the device or replacement of the drive unit in the future. This makes it possible to repurpose a single-acting conveyor made with Unicon to another device, or to replace only the drive system, including Unicon, without changing the sequence on the device side when modifying the device. .

■Data buffer unit

The data buffer unit is a FIFO (first in, first out) buffer controller. It is useful for mixed flow production, single piece flow, and high-mix low-volume production. Stores up to 32 pieces of 4-bit data. It can be easily used without a computer, RDIF, or complicated sequences for operation.
