■Summary

Ship handle parts Achieved flatness of less than 2/1.000 through cutting. This workpiece is a ship handle part. Conventionally, precision was achieved by polishing, as oil leakage would occur if the flatness was reduced to less than 2/1,000, but since the manufacturer wanted something to be done without incurring too much cost, we decided to use cutting. We succeeded in suppressing the flatness of the top surface of the photo to less than 2/1,000 and completely preventing oil leakage. Since then, we have processed approximately 10,000 pieces and have not had a single defect. (Φ50×8L)
