■What is maintenance optimization?

When optimizing maintenance, it is important to think about what to optimize (minimize or maximize), such as minimizing costs and maximizing equipment performance. Availability Workbench (AWB) allows you to simulate maintenance optimization by considering various factors such as inventory costs, labor costs, utilization rates, and capacity. Maintenance optimization is supported by failure analysis. This is because the maintenance method (TBM or CBM, etc.) suitable for the equipment is determined based on the failure tendency. Additionally, the number of spare parts required can be predicted through simulation. Spare parts calculated through simulation can be managed by linking with FLiPS developed by our company. AWB is a powerful software suite that can handle all of this.

Availability Workbench (AWB) supports the formulation of maintenance strategies based on Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) developed by Isograph in the UK, estimates of availability over the lifecycle of a system, estimates of lifecycle costs, etc. software. This product focuses on failures in the components (systems) that make up plants and systems, and provides solutions using reliability engineering methods.
