About This Product

■Product overview

This product is a coating agent for aluminum melting furnaces, and is effective in preventing corrosion of aluminum oxide (commonly known as ghost). Aluminum oxide is generated on the surface and inside of bricks in melting furnaces, holding furnaces, etc., and not only takes up the area inside the furnace, but also causes the bricks to have to be replaced sooner. However, by applying TIXOBOND27, such phenomena can be reduced.

■Product features

・It prevents aluminum oxide from corroding into refractories and has the effect of suppressing growth. As a result, the lifespan of your furnace can be significantly extended. It also makes chiseling work easier when repairing the furnace. ・Since it has poor wettability with aluminum, when applied to gutters and ladle, there will be less adhesion of molten metal. ・The work is easy, and it can be applied by spray or brush after repairing a furnace or on top of refractory bricks in a new furnace. ・When used in conjunction with the monolithic refractory ISOPLAST PH61, it exhibits even better corrosion prevention effects.
