The SV165 guide scope has a lens aperture of 30mm, a focal length of 120mm, and weighs only 300 grams. However, the metal quality is good and it doesn't feel cheap. The back focus distance is 45mm. Accurate focus adjustment is possible using the thumb screw and lock ring. The pedestal has a quarter inch screw.
A 11.2cm long mini guide with a 30mm f/4 aperture optical system that won't put stress on your telescope. The SV165 guide scope is also available with a lens diameter of 40mm and a focal length of 160mm.
