About This Product

General-purpose eyepiece, 1.25 inch/31.7mm telescope general-purpose eyepiece. Focal length: 6mm 9mm 15mm 20mm, you can freely observe objects of different distances and sizes. 68° super wide-angle eyepiece; Apparent field of view: 68°; Eye relief: 13mm. Experience a wonderful "space walk". High-grade optical glass, high-grade optical glass is used for the lens material to achieve a clear field of view and excellent contrast.

■Non-slip rubber grip

The rubber grip keeps the eyepiece firmly in your hand, even when it's cold or wearing gloves.

■Two dust covers

Comes with two sturdy dust covers to protect the eyepiece from dust and moisture. Convenient to carry and store.

■Body material

Black anodized housing. These eyepieces are fully internally baffled and all internal spacer edges have anti-reflective micro-baffles and are flat black anodized to reduce reflections.

■Relationship between eyepiece focal length and magnification

It is calculated by the formula: Magnification = focal length of objective lens (mirror) ÷ focal length of eyepiece. Also, since the focal length of a telescope's objective lens cannot be changed, all magnification adjustments are made by replacing the eyepiece. As you can see from the above formula, the longer the focal length of the eyepiece, the lower the magnification, and the shorter the focal length of the eyepiece, the higher the magnification. The lower the magnification, the wider and brighter the visible area, and the higher the magnification, the narrower and darker the visible area. During actual observation, stars are observed at the optimal magnification by changing eyepieces with different focal lengths depending on the object being viewed.
